This is an on-call position, which means it is a part-time, hourly role. This position will work no more than 39 hours per week. The starting pay for this position is $18.75/hour and is eligible to enroll in the City and County of Denver’s 457b retirement plan. This position is not eligible for other additional benefits. On‐call positions may have routine or variable work schedules.
These positions will report to 4495 Jason Street in Denver but will work at various locations throughout the city.
These are seasonal positions that will work no more than 39 hours per week and are not eligible for benefits.
Parks Amenities Maintenance Workers play an essential role in supporting the operation and maintenance of Denver’s extensive network of parks amenities such as playgrounds, trails/related pathways, and other related parks amenities and structures. This position is a great opportunity for those looking to gain a solid base of skills and knowledge in the hopes of a more stable career in park maintenance or infrastructure maintenance and construction.
One of these positions will work as a part of the Amenities Legacy Team focused on park improvement projects. This position will be funded through the 2018 Ballot Measure 2A: Parks and Open Space Sales Tax (2A funding), a 0.25% sales tax that has been dedicated to the improvement and expansion of Denver’s parks and recreation system, thanks to Denver voters.
