The Position: As the Senior Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive digital marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth. This role requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in digital marketing, a deep understanding of the latest trends and technologies, and the ability to lead a high-performing team. Areas of ownership include email & SMS, website personalization, SEO and affiliate marketing.

The Location: Hybrid combining working from home, and onsite in White River Junction VT preferred. Ideal candidates will be located within a 2–3-hour drive of our offices. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute innovative and effective digital marketing strategies aligned with overall business goals.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including but not limited to email marketing, SMS, website personalization, SEO, and affiliate marketing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless campaign execution and alignment with brand messaging.
  • Utilize analytics tools to measure and analyze the performance of digital marketing campaigns, providing regular reports and actionable insights to optimize strategies.
  • Develop and manage digital marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with digital marketing vendors, such ESP, personalization tools, analytics tools, etc.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and tools in the digital marketing space, assessing their relevance and implementing solutions that enhance overall performance.

Experience and Education

  • Proven experience (6+ years) in digital marketing, with a focus on strategy development and execution.
  • 2+ years of experience managing people.
  • Demonstrated success in driving customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth through digital channels.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, draw conclusions, and make actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing trends, tools, and platforms.
  • Experience managing budgets and delivering results within financial constraints.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.

  • Email Marketing & SMS: Experience in crafting and executing email marketing & SMS campaigns that nurture leads, engage customers, and drive sales, with an emphasis on personalization and segmentation.
  • SEO Expertise: Deep understanding of search engine optimization and search engine marketing practices to enhance the brand's visibility and ranking on search engines, driving organic traffic.
  • Affiliate Marketing: The capability to strategize, launch, and oversee affiliate marketing initiatives that enhance brand presence, engage with the audience, and support overall marketing and e-commerce goals.
  • Content Creation and Management: The skill to oversee the creation and curation of compelling, brand-aligned content across various digital platforms, ensuring it engages the target audience and drives conversions. Familiarity with website personalization, optimization and a/b testing.
  • Team Leadership and Development: The ability to lead, inspire, and develop a team of digital marketing professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Technology Savviness: A knack for adopting and leveraging the latest digital marketing tools and technologies to streamline operations, enhance campaign performance, and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Project Management Acumen: Strong organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, ensuring smooth execution and delivery of digital marketing initiatives.
