Bitdefender seeks an experienced Pricing Analyst to join our Business Solution Group. This is a key role to provide pricing solutions to our customers through the sales and account management channels. The pricing analyst uses information resources regarding customer needs, historical data, market conditions, and internal margin/revenue targets to prepare pricing quotes and/or internal proposals regarding pricing strategies for future campaigns.

Successful candidates as a pricing analyst must possess sound knowledge of quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods and experience in a similar role. Responsibilities:

  • Strong understanding of business concepts and underlying details.
  • Assisting with and developing price & packaging positioning.
  • Analyze and maintain deep understanding of customers’ attitude towards prices.
  • Provide pricing and competitive intelligence support across products, segments, channels, and regions.
  • Develop and implement pricing strategy across products and segments to support business objectives.
  • Ensure cross-functional cooperation and communication with all operational groups involved in the execution of the pricing strategy.
  • Recommend/validate price positioning (vs. competition) and price levels.
  • Assist in implementing, administering, and coordinating policies, procedures, and programs related to pricing function.
  • Coordinate with other teams and for product and SKU creation, pricing implementation in all the systems: relationship with Finance, Sales Support, Sales Ops, Legal, etc.
  • Share responsibility for market share, revenue, product penetration, profit and loss and customer satisfaction across products and segments.
  • Broad knowledge of financial analysis methods and the ability to recognize financial and accounting implications of business plans and decisions.
  • Must demonstrate customer focus (internal and external), and ability to deal with ambiguity.
  • Learn various processes within the cross functional teams to serve as a support function.
  • Ability to rapidly assimilate diverse data and make decisions.
  • Ability to identify potential errors and make recommendation regarding future business needs.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, marketing, economics, or in a related field.
  • A master’s degree will be advantageous.
  • Minimum 3 years’ related business experience with data analysis, data modeling, or pricing analysis experience.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across functional areas including, sales, customer service, order coordination, etc.
  • Advanced skills Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. 
  • Extensive experience in analyzing pricing strategies and forecasting revenue and market share.
  • Experience in collaborating on pricing strategies with sales and marketing departments.
  • Ability to keep abreast of industry trends and develop dynamic pricing tools.
  • Advanced ability to present pricing analysis reports to relevant stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis.
  • Extensive experience in analyzing pricing strategies and forecasting revenue and market share.
  • Experience in collaborating on pricing strategies with sales and marketing departments.
  • Ability to keep abreast of industry trends and develop dynamic pricing tools.
  • Advanced ability to present pricing analysis reports to relevant stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
