Purpose of the Job:-
The purpose of the Opex Manager role is to ensure that the BHL sites energy supply with efficiency are managed efficiently through proper diesel filling at site with effective management and OPEX both diesel & EB control with the objective of driving higher uptime and Optimizing energy costs within company guidelines of Energy & Code of Conduct. Also, EM will take care of timely filling of diesel, timely payment of EB bill with NO LPSC, & NO VCR , Process compliance, Optimize utilization of Network Opex and replacement Capex
Manpower training etc.
Qualification and Experience required for the role
B Tech/B.E in EEE/ E&C/E&I/ELEX/ELE with experience of 9-10 years in the Energy & Opex department of Telecom industry. Should possess good working knowledge of electrical equipment’s like PIU, SMPS, BB, PPC, IPMS, DG and Transformers & bi laws of code of electricity Deptt.
1) Drive energy efficiency & reduction in energy cost
To ensure the proactive planning of diesel filing, SEB bill payment ,proper planning of filling through beat paln & log cards maintained & adherence of process implementation of to deliver the best ever uptime. Driving operations/management of EB assets planning to reduce the energy cost of all Opcos.
2) Drive Efficiency in energy cost on by applying green initiative
Driving efficiency related projects like AC optimization, DG optimization and RTU, 3 p – 1 P, optimize the energy cost etc.
3) Driving Governance Meetings with all vendor partners
To monitor the Vendor/Partner’s performance and govern them as per their performance. To make them understand about the new process and company’s priorities/process etc.
4) Ensuring Building & Adherence of O&M processes
Formation of process for smooth operations of energy network operations. Make the suitable changes if required on time to time basis for the betterment of energy solution
