“HID Global is hiring for the role of Senior Test Engineer QA for their Product Development team. This is a Quality Assurance role, and the person is intended to create test suites and automate the Product testing and certify the software that will be released to Customers.

Overview:

As a Senior Test Engineer with 4 years of experience in test automation and web services (API) testing, You should be familiar with Automating the Web Services Testing with Industry Standard along with Open-Source test tools (Soap UI, JMeter, Selenium, Robo Framework). Also we require strong technical skills on (Python/Java/jav script language, front end technologies like React OR Angular, CSS, BDD, Jenkins, REST API, SELENIUM/UFT/Appium, postman).

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Good Exposure to Web Service Testing, Security Testing,
  • Automating the Web Services Testing with Industry Standard Open-Source test tools (Soap UI, JMeter, Selenium, Robo Framework)
  • Require strong Technical Skills on (Python/Java/jav script language, front end technologies like React OR Angular, CSS, BDD, Jenkins, REST API, SELENIUM/UFT/Appium, postman
  • any IDE (ECLIPSE/INTELLIJ/VSCODE), knowledge in different stacks( MEAN/MERN)
  • Enable full-fledged automation system to improve the test productivity.
  • Integrated Automated Test Suites to CI/CD Pipelines.
  • Identify test automation opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of test services.
  • Contribute to test automation scripting standards and best practices.
  • Work closely with the project team to insure that all SW code, requirements and other documentation are complete, validated as accurate and cataloged appropriately in our system repositories.
  • Develop, document, implement and operate an end-to-end SW QA process that is appropriate for our development organization and products / services.
  • Develop test plans, schedules, test cases and execute tests accordingly to assure minimal SW releases containing bugs. Track, follow up and ensure that all bugs are remediated, and code is released effectively.
  • Perform Functional testing, Systems integration testing and Client acceptance testing.
  • Work with the project test team to make sure that the deliverables meet the project expectations in teams of schedule, quality and scope.
  • Assist in the end-to-end design development and implementation process as appropriate to insure quality SW is being deployed throughout our development, test, preproduction and production environments.
  • Work in tandem with release engineer, Coordinate until the build is deployed to production and do the appropriate post validation steps to complete the deployment process.
  • Testing the web-based applications, Page flows verification and validation using appropriate test tools and automation test framework.
  • Automating the test process for web pages starting from login through workflow verification and validation. Should work with Load and stress tests. Should prepare datasets for the applications that are developed by HID cross functional teams.

Technical Skillsets:

  • Hands on experience with Test Automation tools: SOAP UI, Selenium.
  • Good knowledge with DevOps Practices: CI/CD, Test Suite integration with CI/CD Pipelines
  • Good knowledge with Cloud Hosted Solution Evaluation.

Preferred Qualities:

  • An undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required, with graduate degree preferred.
  • Min 4 years of overall experience in Software Development Testing.
  • Outstanding communication skills in both written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Creative thinker with a vision and a passion to create something cutting edge.
