Supports Ecommerce Director in setting and achieving goals set for the Canada market for a designated portfolio. The Senior Manager alongside the Director and Executive Director will participate in the creation of the overall strategy for the Ecommerce team in Canada. The Senior Manager will have a matrix reporting relationship into the Executive Director of Ecommerce, On Line and Consumer Engagement in Canada. 

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to): 

  • Helps set and cascade objectives to Corporate Ecommerce Team and multiple brands that will help drive sales, new customer acquisition and growth in the Canada Market across all channels. 
  • Responsible for collaborating with internal and external partners to create a compelling and localized online experience across retailer and brand &ndash including digital, social and promotional programming &ndash while considering omni integration. 
  • Serves as the point person between multiple key stakeholders, including global & NA Teams, Canada cross-functional teams and external partners to strategize and execute a compelling and localized online/omni experience. 
  • Ownership of E-commerce KPI planning, channels and strategy and conversion funnel ensuring delivery on objectives.
  • Builds and maintain strong partnerships with all key stakeholders to ensure any changes communicated are cascaded and adjusted accordingly in a timely manner.
  • Acts as a key Leader in regular touch bases and meetings to ensure any gaps and/or opportunities are identified and insights are shared to optimize any programming and/or activations across multiple brands.
  • Advocates for streamlined processes that will help create efficiencies and improve workflow cross-functionally and how information is communicated to internal and external partners i.e. Marketing Calendars, SXS, Sampling Calendars, Forecasting, Post-Mortems, Competitor Audits.
  • To be consulted on upcoming all digital projects, forecasts, strategies by global/NA teams.
  • Responsible for sales estimates and execution of brand portfolio.
  • To be informed of ongoing online brand projects and changes led by global/NA teams.

Forecasting & Budgeting

  • Responsible for budgetting and planning alongside branded leadership teams necessary budgets and forecasting allocations of assortment planning, samples, gwp, localizations.
  • Responsible for brainstorming, developing and maintaining loyalty point budgeting allocation for promotions via ecommerce platforms that align with the portfolio of brands DNA.
  • Ownership of the budget planning and allocation on an ongoing basis for conversion of funnel of media investments while also ensuring the marketing team is able to spend on media accordingly for awareness and consideration funnels.
  • Sr. Managers are responsible for one of the largest portfolio of brands (sales volume) in Canada. Alternatively, they will be placed on a portfolio of brands that presents the most growth opportunity for ecommerce in Canada. 

Reporting & Analysis

  • Responsible for managing a portfolio of brands ecommerce prescence in Canada. Acting as the main point of contact for all day to day escalations.
  • Responsible for reporting on overall metrics and on line performance of the respective portfolio(s) in Canada. 
  • Responsible for ensuring the maintenance of all KPIs for a designated portfolio in Canada.
  • Responsible for reporting KPIs to senior leadership (local, regional and in some cases global).
  • Responsible for collaborating with other members of the management team& Director to ensure consistency in KPI reporting, metrics and analysis.
  • Responsible for conducting an analysis of the portfolio of brands on line performance.
  • Responsible for providing recommendations from KPIs and analysis to enhance a portfolios overall on line performance.
  • P/L and Sales Reporting

People Leader Experience

  • Responsible for managing a team of 1-2 members junior members of the ecommerce team ranging from Coordinators to Assistant Managers.
  • Responsible for peer mentoring and mentoring junior members of the ecommerce team in Canada.
  • Responsible for finding and driving efficiencies within the Ecommerce Team in Canada. The Sr. Manager will be responsible in developing stream lined processes, reports and procedures. 

Other projects as assigned .

Qualifications

  • MBA preferred. BA / BS in Post-Secondary degree/diploma required (preferably in related fields such as Digital marketing, marketing etc)
  • 8+ years previous corporate/agency or office experience required in a similar capacity 
  • Proficient command of the English language, with strong written, oral and presentation skills 
  • Strong business acumen with proficient understanding of metrics and reporting, with an ability to analyze data, draw conclusions and make recommendations 
  • Ability to identify and validate opportunities based on consumer trends, competitive research, developed insights and best practices 
  • Understanding of web technologies and production processes involved in online development 
  • Proficient in MS Office &ndash including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint + web analytics & KPI measurement tools 
  • A well-versed leader, who has the ability to adapt and build strong cross-functional with internal and external partners, plus ensure alignment in a matrixed organization 

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $86,400 to $129,600. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results as well as participation in a share incentive plan.
