Overview

Cvent is looking for a Technical Writer with an otherworldly attention to detail, an ability to write clear concise prose, and a love for using those gifts to help people. You have the vocabulary of a lexicologist and the wisdom to know when to renounce it. You're immune to the allure of buzzwords, corporatese, and techno-babble. You're unafraid to barrage complete strangers with questions until you get it. If that someone is you, you'd be working with the team responsible for making learning about our products a smooth, fun, and rewarding experience—Support Operations. After receiving product training, you'll be creating and editing help content, and assisting in updating our knowledge base to meet the needs of our ever-evolving users.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Write and translate complex topics into customer friendly content.
  • Write, update, and edit help content that people actually want to read
  • Create content in a variety of mediums, including articles, images, GIFs, short videos, etc.
  • Assist in mentoring volunteer writers from across the company
  • Act as a user advocate

Here's What You Need:

  • Strong sense of reader loyalty
  • Deadline-driven creative self-starter
  • Superb communication skills, must be able to make difficult concepts digestible, engaging, and relatable. Your writing samples should demonstrate this strength.
  • Experience with myKB a plus
