Your role @ Chanel

The role holder will be required to work within the Global Information Security’s Governance Risk & Compliance pillar and collaborate across the other global pillars i.e. GISEC Resilience, GISEC Response, GISEC Advisory and GISEC Transformation to implement the various centralised processes across Europe, Asia, Middle-East and the US. Additionally, the role holder will be required to regularly work with and support the Regional and Divisional Information security and Information technology teams in the execution of their work programs, providing strategic support to ensure core alignment between Global, Regional, Divisional and Local cybersecurity initiatives.

The impact you can create at Chanel

  • Design & implement the Cybersecurity Training & Awareness Framework and Roadmap globally.
  • Deliver core Information Security training to local CHANEL trainers (train the trainers) on a regular basis and maintain the training material, keeping it up to date.
  • Deliver local training and demos in the regions and divisions, as part of the InfoSec Roadshows
  • Information Security risk and gap remediation tracking - including communication of gaps identified from 3rd party assessments and follow up of remediation actions. Regular engagement with Chanel Businesses to support the gap closures activities
  • InfoSec Policy and Standards advisory - Adhoc support to the Chanel business and regions with respect to the Control Standards and InfoSec Policy requirements
  • Manage the ongoing implementation of the Chanel information security maturity assessment program, including the Practice creation, publication, maintenance, reference manual creation and revision, Consultancy sessions, global attestations, reporting, maturity measurement and periodic presentations
  • Manage the coordination and implementation of regulatory data processes relevant to the Chanel IT organisation including information security requirements for legal and regulatory aspects. This data identification, data quality, data flow management, ongoing quality monitoring & oversight of data, participation and ownership of IT components within the Global compliance workstreams (Co-ordination & support as required)
  • InfoSec scorecards development & maintenance – Ownership, Management and maintenance of the InfoSec Key metrics and scorecards
  • Manage the junior / newer team members within the team and provide support in execution of assigned tasks in line with agreed targets
  • Supporting the Management reporting for GISEC GRC as required

Requirements

  • University degree
  • More than 10 years InfoSec/ IT Security experience in large international organisation
  • Security certifications like but not limited to:
  • CRISC
  • CGEIT
  • CISM
  • CISA
  • CISSP
  • ISO 27001/5
  • Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
  • Knowledge of network protocols and IT infrastructure.
  • Proven experience working successfully with external service providers
  • Strong understanding of project management principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed with ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
  • Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent English and oral communication skills. Regional languages also desirable (e.g. French).
