Job Description

RPO Business Analyst

The RPO Business Analyst will be part of the bank's Remediation Program Office ("RPO") and report directly to the Director, RPO, who reports to the Chief Administrative Officer of Comerica. The bank's RPO team is responsible for regulatory engagement execution, key regulatory submissions and responses, and regulatory execution policy across all of the bank's regulators.

The RPO Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the RPO Director and Workstream Leaders in their delivery of key remediation activities. They manage the reporting, development of content/materials for weekly RPO meetings, ERC, COC and Board, etc. This role performs key remediation tasks for low and moderate risk deliverables, identifies risks, issues and dependencies in remediation plans and provides guidance to business.

Position Responsibilities:

Execute RPO Governance Routines:

  • Collaborate and consult with leaders and executive management to develop agendas and materials to support key RPO governance activities.
  • Assist in the execution, monitoring, and reporting of a variety of programs and initiatives included in the RPO.
  • Determine areas of strength or Business Execution opportunity within the defined scope of work.
  • Using reporting insights, provide initial risk commentary, including insights and forward-looking trends, against key RPO reporting delivered to Executive Leadership, Board Committees, and CMA Board of Directors
  • Evaluate and provide detailed feedback for governance materials provided by workstream and MR(I)A owners, including Executive and Board Reporting.
  • Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives.
  • Create and deliver compelling PowerPoint presentations that effectively communicate information and ideas to all levels of the organization.
  • Collaborate and consult with leaders and executive management.

Execution of Remediation Plans:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of programs and initiatives that may include risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer experience.
  • Guide low and moderate risk deliverables.
  • Collaborate with workstream leads to identify risks, issues, and dependencies in remediation plans.
  • Provide feedback on quality of evidence to support low and moderate risk deliverables.
  • Proactively communicate concerns, risks, issues, or roadblocks to RPO Senior Leadership.
  • Provide guidance in diverse support functions and business lines.
  • Collaborate and consult with leaders and executive management.

8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday
