Data Solution Architect

  • Collaborates with SAN, server, applications and operational staff in support of database objectives
  • Database architecture, Oracle and Grid installations, DR configuration,  Backup and recovery,  Server migration, Patching &  Upgrade
  • Configuration management,  Database creation and  Database decommission
  • Compliance, Capacity planning, Standard, Audit, User management
  • Solid knowledge of Linux / Unix operating systems and shell programming is required
  • Grid cluster upgrade and knowledge of 12c and 12c OEM, ASM, Datapump, Partitioning, Materialized views.
  • The person must have the aptitude to work with application and business data and must have the mind-set, ability to learn/support multiple data platform technologies.

  • Strong verbal and written communication, with an ability to present and discuss technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding. 
  • Solid interpersonal, negotiating, and marketing skills to work with users, senior management, and external personnel on significant matters, often requiring coordinated activity across organizational lines. 
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem-solving techniques in a highly complex environment using technology and/or integrating diverse user systems.
