Field Service Technician - Drive

In this position, you will provide technical support for Drives Service in Drives Service/Service/Motion in Tuzla/Turkey, delivering superior, professional service, remotely or on-site. Your hands-on experience and knowledge of customer needs will help you not only to build strong customer relationships, but also to actively identify and develop new business opportunities.

Your responsibilities

  • Execute Service work according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB standard processes and safety guidelines,
  • Deliver excellent customer service to satisfy customers,
  • Performs Service tasks, identifies technical problems and makes analysis through remote or on-site activity in any Service categories (installation and commissioning, maintenance, repairs, advanced services, extensions, upgrades and retrofits, end of life services, replacements, etc.),
  • Creates and maintains a good relationship with customers and understands their needs,
  • Coordinates, prepares and ensures that all materials, parts and equipment are available and at the appropriate quality for Service activities,
  • Prepares all documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative,
  • Reports work done in a timely manner and follows up when needed,
  • Applies safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities,
  • Reports unsafe practices and incidents.

Your background

  • Vocational school or associate degree with electrical/electronics,
  • At least 2 years of service technician experience in manufacturing or electrical industry,
  • Knowledge of frequency convertors basics. Intermediate English skills, Turkish language is must,
  • MS Office Skills is a must,
  • Dynamic and enthusiastic profile with continuous-development mindset,
  • Flexibility and quick adaption to frequent scheduling updates,
  • Only on specific and pre-fixed schedule, availability to work during weekends and public holidays to provide 24/7 support,
  • Up to 70% travel required,
  • Current car driving license (type B).
