About the role

As a Product Manager, you will take ownerships for the development, implementation and execution of operational plans that optimize performance, market share and revenue growth for brands in the short and long term.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Financial and Business Results: Responsibility for distributors’ sales performance, resource allocation and cost management of the product(s) in charged to achieve targets, lead expenditure in place within annual budget (A&P).
  • Market Insight: interacts with all customer groups to make market observations, and identifies potential insights and market access issues. Acquire disease and market understanding to develop customer insights through appropriate techniques/tools. Segment customer groups by agreed criteria. Supports and contributes to market research activities, using basic tools and sources. Identifies suitable forecast analogues and helps in setting up strategy.
  • Planning: identifies potential key tactical options within each component of the marketing mix. Optimize channel/promotional mix for individual brand through appropriate resource allocation that meets brand objectives and customer needs. Understanding and use of marketing principles to deliver to customer needs. Manages brand finance and budgets, including appropriate management of brand resources.
  • Develops and implements operational plans aligned with the brand life cycle to optimize returns for Sandoz. This includes leading the key opinion leader development program and ensuring consistent execution of the product strategy across all departments (Marketing, Field Force, Managed Markets/Market Access, Medical) through effective communication and collaboration with internal and external partners.
  • Acts as a brand champion, fostering internal and external passion for the brand. Manages relationships with external agencies, supervises business performance and the external environment, and takes corrective actions as needed to meet business objectives. Ensures all promotional processes adhere to P3 guidelines.

Role Requirements

Minimum Requirement:

  • A university degree or equivalent experience in science, preferably in pharmacy or medicine, a postgraduate marketing qualification is a plus point.
  • Fluency in both English and Vietnamese.
  • Demonstrated ability in pharmaceutical marketing, ideally within multinational corporations (MNCs) or generics companies.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Experience in launching products (favorable, not required).
  • A track record of successful contributions and/or profit and loss (P&L) responsibility.
  • Strong communication skills, able to effectively interact with senior management at country, regional, and potentially global levels.
