Your role

Do you have strong data analytics skills? How about experience with risk and controls? Are you looking for an area with a high rate of change and automation?

We are looking for a Regulatory Reporting Specialist within the Regulatory Transaction Reporting (RTR) Americas team to:

  • gain full understanding of the impact of the SEC, CFTC and Canada regulation of certain OTC Derivatives trades
  • investigate and remediate trade reporting breaks to the SEC, CFTC and Canada.
  • perform daily, weekly and monthly RTR Americas controls to ensure complete, accurate and timely reporting
  • raise production issues appropriately and timely, and escalate as needed
  • ensure proper governance is maintained with regards to the processes and controls performed
  • coordinate with other global RTR teams and stakeholders, including Integrated Middle Office teams, Regulatory Maintenance teams and Compliance to properly address issues raised
  • participate in initiatives impacting Regulatory Transaction Reporting. including ongoing digital transformation with regional and global impact

Your team

The Regulatory Transaction Reporting Team within Investment Bank (IB) Operations is based in Nashville and represents the US-based team that manages RTR functions for the Americas regulators, including CFTC, Canadian regulators and the SEC. We work with our global RTR teams daily along with other internal stakeholders including, Integrated Middle Office teams, Regulatory Maintenance teams and Compliance.

Your expertise

  • a degree in any discipline will be considered, but preferably in Finance / Economics / Business Management
  • inquisitive with analytical and risk-aware mindset
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • team-oriented, while able to complete tasks independently
  • securities background would be advantageous
  • knowledge of investment bank products, trade life cycle, and trade booking models will be a strong advantage
  • experience in operational risk and control / operations / audit in the financial services industry
  • escalation awareness

Proven track record in challenging processes and procedures and operating with a control focused mind-set is essential.
