Responsibilities

A Day in the Life of a Graphic Designer:

As the Liberty Military Housing Graphic Designer, you'll lead the creation and enhancement of marketing and communication materials, ensuring brand consistency across all platforms. Responsibilities include managing the asset library, collaborating with vendor partners to uphold brand integrity, and coordinating template updates with regional and national support teams. Additionally, you'll collaborate with Operations on policy form creation and updates, playing a pivotal role in creative and brand management to uphold the brand's strength and integrity. 

Your Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Create and update marketing and communication materials, including but not limited to: digital advertisements, print collateral, social media graphics, presentations, and website assets.
  • Maintain and organize the company's design asset library, ensuring easy access to all design resources.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality designs that align with brand guidelines and objectives.
  • Support design for marketing and communications systems including: social media, livelmh.com, intranet, secondary websites, and other support systems in place. 
  • Work closely with external vendors and partners to ensure brand consistency and quality in all production processes.
  • Coordinate with regional and national support departments to develop and update templates and campaign materials.
  • Assist in the creation and updating of policy forms as directed by the Operations team.
  • Manage creative projects from concept to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables exceed expectations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in graphic design and incorporate them into our design processes.

Qualifications

What You Need for Success: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, or related field or a minimum 5 years in related experience.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creative and effective design solutions across various mediums.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for typography, layout, and color theory.
  • Experience working with print production processes and vendors is a plus.
  • Knowledge of web design principles and experience with HTML/CSS is a plus.
  • Videography or video editing experience is a benefit.
