This role assists Head of Organization Development in designing, facilitating and accelerating Prudential’s People Strategy in capability development and career growth to strengthen employee’s satisfaction and add value to business outcome.

Key Accountability

  • Design and deploy learning & development solutions that aligned with organizational needs to strengthen employee satisfaction
  • Lead competencies framework implementation along with career development management to ensure timely organizational need on right skillset (re-skill/upskill) & strengthen internal mobility
  • Craft & deliver leadership development programs/roadmap for different segmentation of employees aiming at nurturing highly effective leadership in the organization
  • Ensure efficient deployment of L&D initiatives and management of L&D budget

Job Responsibilities

Learning & Development

  • Conduct learning needs assessments to identify skill gaps and learning opportunities across the organization
  • Develop, innovate and implement a diverse learning portfolio, utilizing a blend of learning methodologies (e.g eLearning, bitesize, blended learning, instructor-led training, coaching & mentoring etc.,)
  • Provide advisory & coordinate with divisions on technical learning implementation
  • Ensure compliance and compulsory learning process is well established & adhered to

Leadership & Capabilities Development

  • Design and implement tailored development programs for senior leadership, talent and management group
  • Own and propose impactful assessment tool for capability development of relevant stakeholders in collaboration with Talent & Business HR team
  • Identify and implement strategies for building essential organizational capabilities that support strategic workforce planning exercise

Competency Framework Application

  • Apply PVA general & functional competencies to develop learning & development roadmap/ interventions for different segments of employees
  • Define HR interventions connected to competency framework and monitor the application
  • Implement change management plan for applying competency framework in PVA
  • Conduct skill assessment to define gap and develop relevant action plan for capability building

Career Development Programs

  • Lead & develop Coaching program, nurture internal coach pool and ensure continuous application & effectiveness for the organization
  • Promote global short-term projects platform (Gigs) as alternative development solution
  • Cultivate grow-from-within culture with Career Management Toolkit and Career Development Roadmap
  • Design system, content and process to support Career development and movement within company
  • Own and promote IDP tool for effective career development

Team Development

  • Recruit, develop and coach direct report(s) for performance

Job Requirements

Qualifications /

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR Management or equivalent
  • Have at least 7 years with relevant experiences in HR, specifically in Learning & Development, Talent Management or Organization Development in reputable MNCs

Knowledge and skill /

  • Structured and conceptual thinking
  • Detailed oriented and result-oriented
  • Good at interpersonal and influencing skill
  • People Consultation & Coaching
  • Facilitation skill is a big plus
  • Tech-savvy and a mood for storytelling
  • Possess a structured communication in both English and Vietnamese (verbal and written)
