The opportunity
EY is searching for an Experienced IT Consultant – Solution Architect. In this integral role, you'll partake in client engagements spanning IT strategy, architecture, and solution design, business requirement specification, IT business case development and operational effectiveness. Additionally, you'll be instrumental in program and project management, driving results to exceed client expectations.
Your key responsibilities
- Effectively contribute to Technology consulting projects aiming to better enable organizations by various technologies.
- Analyze business processes and design IT enabled business transformations, develop information systems concept, architecture, and engineer requirements.
- Assessment & improvement of technologies management within various organizations.
- Establish relationships with teams & client personnel at appropriate levels when needed.
- Demonstrate technical capabilities / professional knowledge and ability to assimilate new knowledge.
- Possess good business acumen.
Attributes to thrive in the role
- A bachelor’s degree in STEM (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics).
- Experience in business processes analysis and design of business requirements.
- Proficient understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and methodologies; enterprise architecture frameworks.
- Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with clients, stakeholders, and development teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills backed by analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- A strong drive to excel professionally.
- A business-oriented mindset and the motivation to continually develop personal & technical skills through training, experience, and coaching.
- Preferably, you would also have experience in IT solution architecture and implementation, familiarity with cloud platforms, programming, data management, and networking.
