Responsibilities

  • FL core quality & food safety programs (AIB, FSSC 22000/BRC,ISO 9001) in place/up to date and maintained
  • Manage and maintain the quality inspection and product release programs for incoming materials and finished goods.
  • Manage the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures and systems.
  • Plant regulatory compliance in food safety, quality and environmental subjects.
  • Budget Planning & Control for quality departments and quality/food safety processes.
  • Develops operating policies and procedures to ensure all standards are in compliance.
  • Participate to regular meetings with the plant management team to discuss quality and food safety agenda
  • Continuous improvement by maintaining improvement studies in quality and food safety projects.
  • Ensures the team has the resources and capabilities to effectively accomplish their responsibilities.
  • Mentors and motivates associates by providing trainings and development to optimize their performance and growth.
  • Support and involve in GEHSMS (Global Environmental Health and Safety Management System) as well as other systems; lead applications and trainings in QA group.
  • Get in communication with sector QA team through KPI tracking, regular quality meetings, AIB/ Food Safety standards implementation.
  • Setting quality and food safety project needs of the plant and sharing them with the management team
  • Lead to plant’s food safety agenda to meet with FSCC 22000 and AIB requirements.
  • Develop and sustain ISO 9001 Quality Management System to comply with the standards
  • Lead to trials of new product, package and raw material.
  • Lead supplier performance tracking system in the plant.
  • Manage the production, warehouse and trade for product quality and food safety.
  • Develop, lead and ensure cleaning and hygiene practices/procedures are in place according to the HACCP Principles.
  • Ensure the food safety pre-requisite programs, Pepsico company requirements and national/international regulations are implemented in place
  • Provide the external communication with legal and regulatory authorities and other organizations related to food safety,
  • Lead to the Food Safety Teams and ensure the competency of the team
  • Ensure all the refreshment trainings related with food safety are completed at annual bases all over the employee
  • Report the effectiveness and compliance of the food safety management system to top management team
  • Develop, update and sustain the requirements of document management system in the site.
  • Organize and lead to food safety audits, coaching multifunctional projects, continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead to Product Crisis Management requirements in the plant.
  • Lead to manage the consumer complaints, customer satisfaction and related actions for performance increase.
  • Ensure the capability build of QC supervisors to be able to implement the PepsiCo requirements

Qualifications

  • BS degree in Engineering (chemical, food etc.)
  • Broad experience in food industry
  • Good communication skills in English & Turkish
  • Good performance at MS Office Applications
  • Good leadership and communication skills
  • Creating inclusive environment, talent building
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Result oriented, demonstrating responsibility & accountability to achieve the target
