As Nortal Group Legal Counsel, you will be focusing on legal, and compliance matters in North American and/ or German market(s). Additionally, based on need, you will be dealing with various legal matters in other territories where Nortal is active.

Responsibilities

  • Drafting and reviewing contracts and legal documents (e.g. client agreements, NDA´s, etc.), taking part in negotiations. 
  • Advising internal stakeholders on public procurement related matters, providing internal support throughout tender participation processes.
  • Dealing with intellectual property related topics. 
  • Assisting with corporate legal matters. 
  • Coordinating external legal support. 
  • Dealing with privacy and data protection related matters.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) from a reputable law school. 
  • Around 5 years of law-related experience, preferably at an international and/or ICT company. Working experience in the US market will be a strong advantage. 
  • Working proficiency in English language. German language skills will be a strong advantage. 
  • Attitude of a team player, working closely with stakeholders, but also taking responsibility for a domain and working independently.
  • Strong performance standards and ability to deliver your work on time. 
  • Ability to work in an agile business environment and capacity to think outside of the box. 
  • Willingness to learn and „can do“ attitude.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
