We are seeking a Product Manager or Product Owner equivalent with an interest in data who will enable the next generation of data management capability across the full data lifecycle, this is an exciting role where you will work in a fast-paced agile environment in our Data & ID Transformation Tribe and be at the frontier of data innovation at Optus!

  • Supply to innovative and scalable new data governance and data management patterns of operation, which implement and embed data controls.
  • Translate requirements of large-scale transformation initiatives into smaller actionable items.
  • Assist with leadership of data transformation initiatives with a focus on rapid implementation and execution of multiple initiatives in parallel.
  • Refinement, implementation, and monitoring of data management controls.
  • Contribute to product strategy, roadmap planning and prioritisation for new initiatives, ensuring continued focus on most high impact data management initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes that meet customer and business needs.
  • Drive roadmap alignment between squads within the Data & ID Tribe, other Digital & Data tribes and across the organisation.

It starts with you!

  • You have 3+ years confirmed experience in a Product Manager or Product Owner role equivalent in an Agile environment.
  • Background in data, data management, analytics, business intelligence, IT or digital, is highly desirable.
  • You are a self-starter with proven experience with delivery of products within agile.
  • Validated experience working with, managing multiple collaborators, and influencing key business units.
  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap and backlog, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business value and customer impact.
