About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer and Chief Operations Officer, the Vice President, Revenue Operations is responsible for driving strategic alignment throughout all Matillion’s revenue-driving functions and across the entire customer lifecycle to maximize revenue growth.

The Revenue Operations team oversees all Sales reporting and analysis, sales forecasting, deal structuring, contract audits, licensing maintenance, commission payments, quota setting, expense budgeting, annual operating plan, and sales capacity planning. This role oversees a team responsible for reducing inefficiencies, streamlining systems design, removing friction in our processes, and cultivating a culture of data discipline.

What you will be doing;

  • Own the strategy and vision for Revenue Operations - focusing on RevOps practices, tooling and methodologies to drive growth.
  • Partner closely with leaders across Matillion to drive go-to-market strategies, collaborating cross-functionally with Field Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, and other revenue-driving functions to impact customer success, and drive retention and revenue growth. 
  • Develop and execute revenue operations strategies aligned with financial and operational goals.
  • Collaborate with the wider finance team to develop financial models and forecasts related to revenue operations to provide relevant business insights.
  • Continuously leverage performance analytics and optimise go-to-market strategies, processes and systems to drive productivity and efficiencies. 
  • Determine and direct operational priorities connected to new business and customer acquisition, growth, and customer success (retention) to effectively achieve revenue goals.
  • Build automated efficiencies where possible to maintain an agile and lean operations function
  • Lead and manage the revenue operations team, responsible for deal desk, revenue operations and sales compensation management. 
  • Support executive deliverables such as Board Reviews, QBR/MBR’s, and strategic planning as needed.

What we are looking for

  • 10+ years of experience and proven success in go-to-market strategy and operations roles across the revenue funnel within SaaS organizations.
  • Significant experience leading global revenue operations teams. 
  • Demonstrated understanding of consumption and/or SaaS go-to-market models, sales and business metrics and growth methodologies.
  • Strong business acumen and a solid understanding of the key drivers of revenue growth.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing revenue operations strategies with measurable financial outcomes.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong ability to interact and influence effectively with all C-level executives and senior leaders.

At Matillion, we are committed to providing competitive salaries in line with market standards. Our estimated base compensation range for this position is $230,000 - $285,000. This role is eligible for participation in our corporate bonus plan. The final salary will be based on the relevant skills and experience demonstrated in the hiring process.
