Our Grocery & Retail business is a startup within Uber, a team focussed on growth and innovation, but with the support and leverage of Uber’s large global ridesharing and delivery businesses. We own the delivery of everything that isn’t restaurant food - think groceries, essentials, alcohol, pharmaceuticals, beauty, and more... About The Role

As a Senior Strategy & Operations Manager leading our Merchant Pick & Pack (MPP) operations, you will play a key role in managing Retailer performance on Uber Eats. Your mission will be to optimise the operational efficiency of our Retail partners and champion their needs - ensuring they are equipped with the right technology, resources and support to effectively manage Uber Eats demand.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and implement strategies to enhance Retailer operations and performance
• Manage new product rollouts and partner with cross-functional teams to drive product feature adoption and operational improvements
• Work closely with global product & tech teams to improve our platform and capabilities in the Retail context
• Use data and foster relationships with our Commercial Teams and Retailers to understand our partners and identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve any issues that impact Retailer performance or operations

The Experience You’ll Bring

• Experience in Management Consulting, Product Management, or Business Operations - prior exposure to Retail a plus
• A go-getter attitude; you’re willing to take a hands-on approach to get the job done and bias towards action
• Highly collaborative; you know how to engage work across different stakeholder groups to drive towards shared goals
• A combination of technical, analytical and strategic thinking, with a track record of solving complex operational challenges and coming up with creative solutions
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
