Cybersecurity Governance (2nd Line of Defense)

Our Cybersecurity Governance Organization is looking for a Cybersecurity Architect to start working directly within our Cybersecurity Architecture team in our Mlada Boleslav site in Czech Republic.

Your main mission

The role of the Cybersecurity Architect for Directory-, User- and Endpoint-Security is to define the cybersecurity architecture for directory-, user- and endpoint-security for Faurecia and HELLA, consisting of employees, ideas, solutions, technologies & processes, to align it company-wide and, following new requirements, constantly update and adapt it. With this he achieves the lowest possible internal and external security posture and ensures security compliance.

When introducing or updating IT solutions, the Cybersecurity Architect for Directory-, User- and Endpoint-Security defines the current cybersecurity requirements and ensures that these are met by the solutions that are tested and selected in close cooperation with the IT department.

The essential responsibilities and duties

  • Responsible for the definition and implementation or adaptation of the cybersecurity architecture of Faurecia and HELLA
  • Ensure regular risk and weak point analysis and derivation of necessary countermeasures, as well as supporting IT during the implementation of these measures
  • Provide an initial budget estimate for new Cybersecurity projects and ensure ongoing budget for deployed Cybersecurity solutions
  • Definition and implementation of necessary adjustments/further developments to increase or regain the necessary efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ensuring that cybersecurity architectures, guidelines and policies comply with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Close cooperation with various stakeholders (IT, business, data protection, audit, ...)
  • Ensuring regular market analysis to evaluate new or existing solutions
  • Support of IDP in the acquisition of new solutions
  • Support IT in the context of POCs and pilots

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor or master in IT (alternatively long-term experience in the field of Cybersecurity)
  • Relevant professional experience (at least 5 years)
  • Sound knowledge of Cybersecurity and related solutions and systems
  • Motivation and determination to acquire new Cybersecurity skills
  • Good verbal & written communication skills
  • Strong team skills (within & outside the Cybersecurity team)
  • Personal resilience
  • Self-taught skills
  • 15% willingness to travel, also intercontinental
