Work Description

  • Manages the enterprise Key Account project scope, costs, resources, and risks on assigned projects to deliver the projects on time and within the budget.
  • Acts as the primary on-site leader for execution teams on assigned Key Account projects. Develops Project Execution Plan, including but not limited to; Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Organizational Chart, Safety Plan, Project Schedules, Issues / Risk Logs, and Staffing Requirements to execute projects according to the plan.
  • Evaluates the contractual scope of work and the impact of client issued Instructions / Notices, field directives and / or scheduling changes. Actively pursues change orders for these and for additional work. Performs associated cost estimates, prepares proposals, and negotiates final settlement price and customer acceptance.
  • Manages key accounts payables, billings and collections. Completes project billings in a timely and accurate format to the client to maintain positive cash flow.
  • Analyzes financial reporting systems and project schedules to proactively address
  • potential problems. Effectively communicates project progress, issues, and financial status to management as required.
  • Manages risks utilizing Risk Log and establishes project recovery plans when required. Resolves disputes with minimal need for escalation.
  • Prepares VOs RFPs, negotiates & tracking, and issues subcontracts.
  • Ensures key account project document controls comply with contract requirements and company standards.
  • Manages the selection, ordering, and delivery schedule of materials to be procured for the projects assigned.
  • Coordinates with the Installation Vander, Team member and / or Mechanical Team member for allocation of resources needed to meet project objectives. Ensures any engineering and commissioning performed by the field team is in accordance with established standards. Facilitates escalation of product related problems.
  • Assists Project Delivery Leader and / or team member in key account project development efforts.
  • Coordinates customer-training requirements.
  • Facilitate project team to use the tools under the Connected Technology Project Management control, such as PPM, SFDC, Backlog tools.
  • Active develop VOs of key account projects, to Self-perform or identify sales support activities early on vendor/partners selection, scope enhancements, value engineering, risk assessment, cost estimating, project VOs scheduling and project management of assigned projects etc.
  • Provides feedback on performance of projects managers and project engineers which involved in KA projects. 
  • Leaders and Regional Installation Manager.
  • Updates the Service Sales and service team with the major milestone completion status and assists them in securing Planned Service Agreements on Key account projects.
  • Performs key account Installation to Service turnover toward the end of KA projects.

Background Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Control , HVAC , Construction , Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture or an associate degree with equivalent work-related experience
  • Minimum of 5~10 years of direct project management experience in the Building/Factory Construction Industry.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
  • Travel will vary on project assignment.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
  • Familiar or can adapt to project finance and related KPIs.
