Role Summary

This position will drive the continuous evolution and improvement of our Learning Management System by ensuring Splunk is leveraging all available features of the LMS to enable learning across our Customers, Partners, and Splunkers. This role will create an exciting energy around new releases and lead the various phases required to ensure the organization is ready to adopt new capabilities.

What you'll get to do

  • Drive continuous improvement and a regular cadence of new feature roll-outs in the LMS.
  • Lead ideas and possibilities for automation of processes within the LMS and adjacent tech stack.
  • Help identify opportunities to enhance the customer learning experience.
  • Deploy Skills-based functionality in LMS.
  • Support integration activity required between LMS and other internal systems (Workday, Salesforce, SAP).
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders across various functions (IT, HR, GTM, Legal, Enablement) to identify functional and system requirements and success criteria while helping drive cross-functional alignment.
  • Help drive cross-functional alignment and decisions required across various Education and other stakeholders (IT, Finance).
  • Negotiate competing requirements across business owners and establish project direction with business leaders.
  • Partner with LMS Customer Success Manager to successfully deploy new features/functionality of LMS
  • Routinely identify, assess, and develop mitigation plans for events that could impact the program's success. Build mitigation plans anticipating dependencies and risks, actively re-plan with business and delivery teams, and reset expectations throughout project delivery.
  • Build commitment with delivery teams and business partners to address project risks and issues effectively.
  • As project manager, help identify project/program bottlenecks and proactively communicate and monitor resolution
  • Lead change management aspect of rolling out new/modified LMS features
  • Communicate project progress by a variety of mediums: leading status meetings, email/slack communications, and developing project presentations. Ensure that information related to progress, and issues/risks are being communicated with the project teams, business owners, and sponsors.

Must-have Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in LMS Cornerstone SBX (Saba) Administration
  • 6+ Experience with LMS to other system integrations (Workday, Salesforce, SAP)
  • Experience in deploying and supporting Skills capabilities in the LMS
  • Deep subject matter expertise in enablement/Education functions and knowledge of LMS taxonomy
  • Strong new feature roll-outs, release roll-outs
  • Ability to lead Change Management on LMS feature introductions
  • Strong program/project management skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to both frontline and executive audiences
  • Ability to translate concepts, summarize, and communicate complex ideas in a simple and straight-forward fashion
  • Proven experience managing multiple, high-impact priorities simultaneously, with minimal supervision
  • Ability to embrace, pivot, and shift focus based on changing priorities and/or the business environment and champion innovative ideas
  • Professionalism, positivity, and strong work ethic with a high level of integrity and teamwork
  • Excellent interpersonal effectiveness and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Effective and creative in solving problems with an ability to identify issues and resolve, or identify the internal resources needed to assist

Note:

Base Pay Range

SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area

Base Pay Range: $132,000.00 - 181,500.00 per year

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts

Base Pay Range: $118,800.00 - 163,350.00 per year

All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.

Base Pay Range: $105,600.00 - 145,200.00 per year

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
