Position Description:

CGI Romania is looking for an HR administrator to provide support in daily HR related activities.

General scope of the role: Overall HR administration tasks: Hiring Process Management, Onboarding and Offboarding, Documentation and Compliance, Payroll Support, (other) HR Administrative Duties.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Hiring Process Management

  • Administration for the whole employment period – personnel hiring employment continuity and terminations
  • Ensure all hiring documents are sent, received, and archived efficiently

Onboarding and Offboarding:

  • Responsible for the Onboarding process for new employees (induction and all necessary arrangements)
  • Manage the offboarding process for departing employees, ensuring a smooth transition
  • Accurately maintain employee data in internal HR Systems

Documentation and Compliance:

  • Prepare and manage documentation for various employee life cycle events, including maternity/paternity leave
  • Maintain up-to-date health and safety records and coordinate annual training and checks
  • Collaborate with external providers (SSM, medical, life insurance, benefits providers), for enrolment/update of employees reports

Payroll Support:

  • Handle workflow to guarantee all payroll operations are precisely and promptly worked on
  • Keep track of hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information etc.
  • Prepare reports for upper management, finance department etc.
  • Responsible for assisting employees in understanding issues with their pay checks and any modifications that may happen

HR Administrative Duties:

  • Ensuring day-to-day HR administration support to employees and management
  • Makes sure that HR policies and procedures are well known and respected in the company

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Experience:

  • Proven experience in HR operations, preferably as an HR Administrator or similar role
  • Good knowledge of local labor legislation and HR best practices

Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology or any other related field
  • Fluency in English, French language nice to have or willing to learn it
  • Excellent administrative, organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
  • Pro-active and helpful, with a can-do attitude, along with a friendly, positive and professional approach
  • An intuitive, analytical, and pro-active approach to day-to-day work practices
  • A keen eye for detail and ability to demonstrate initiative
  • Experience of working to, and consistently meeting challenging deadlines
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills with a confidence to work with numbers and data
