MAIN REPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

  • Medical Strategy Development
  • To develop and lead the implementation of the medical strategy for gastroenterology & aligned therapy areas.
  • Provide medical support towards business development and new product launches.
  • Customer Engagement and Insight Generation to close the gap in unmet medical needs, through facilitating local guideline/policy update and implementation.
  • Engage with external stakeholders such as HCP associations, academic institutions and key opinion leaders.
  • Generate insights through customer engagements / advisory board meetings and translate these into medical strategies to meet the needs of the health system. 
  • Improve quality patient care through continuing medical education of healthcare professionals.
  • Develop partnerships with key external stakeholders (such as medical societies, government, academic institutions, KOLs) to implement programs to bridge care gaps.
  • Development and implementation of local data generation programs including but not limited to, real-world data generation and outcomes research.

REQUIRED SKILL SET

  • Medical Degree with minimum of MBBS (M.D. or equivalent preferred)
  • Overall 5-8 years of experience in pharma / healthcare industry
  • Experience in gastroenterology preferred.
  • Experience in publications and manuscript writing.
  • Holistic understanding of the health system, policy and payor landscape.
  • Communication skills, both written and verbal (including presentation skills)

Work Location Assignment: On Premise
