We are in search of a highly skilled Level 3 (L3) Engineer with extensive experience in CA DX UIM (NimSoft) to join our team. As an expert in this monitoring tool, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and efficiency of our monitoring and observability systems.
Main Responsibilities:
- CA DX UIM Administration
- Configure, maintain, and optimize CA DX UIM (NimSoft) instances.
- Develop and manage monitoring profiles, templates, and probes.
- Monitor the health and availability of diverse infrastructure components and applications.
- Create and customize dashboards and reports tailored to specific needs.
- Collaborate with teams to integrate CA DX UIM with other tools and platforms.
- Implement and manage automated data collection and alerting.
- Design and implement robust alerting policies and escalation procedures.
- Continuously expand and enhance monitoring coverage to address evolving requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex monitoring issues promptly.
- Analyze collected data to identify trends, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Optimize data storage and archiving strategies to ensure efficient resource utilization.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an L3 Engineer with expertise in CA DX UIM (NimSoft) administration.
- In-depth knowledge of configuring, maintaining, and optimizing the monitoring tool.
- Strong understanding of monitoring best practices, alerting, and data analysis.
- Scripting and automation skills for efficient system management.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of ITIL and DevOps practices.
- Relevant certifications in CA DX UIM are a plus.
