Job Description (Posting).

L2 Support Profile:

• Experience in Middleware Technologies.
• Hands on Experience in configuring, troubleshooting, and installing one or more of the Application Servers JBoss, Apache Tomcat, Wildfly on Windows, and Unix Platforms.
• Hands on Experience in Configuring, troubleshooting, and installing the Web Servers such as IIS, Apache on Windows /Unix Platforms.
• SSL implementation on Web server and Application server level
• Linux and shell or other Unix scripting languages or Python Script is preferred.
• Prior experience with performance optimization and troubleshooting of Java applications.
• Hands-on experience in Java/ JEE technologies
• Knowledge in Messaging technologies like WebSphere MQ / JMS / ActiveMQ on Windows / UNIX Platform.
• Basic understanding of RDMBS and SQL queries
• Experience in the full software development lifecycle using an Agile development process.
• Should have understanding about monitoring, maintainability, and support with exposure to tools such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace etc.
• Knowledge of version control, bug tracking systems, automation (Git, JIRA, Jenkins) or MRM on Windows
• Experience in documenting, recording, and updating incidents in ITSM tools along with creation of Runbooks and SOPs for Application’s involved.
• Should be cognizant of incident management, problem management, change management and release management.
• Should be aware of ITIL Best practices.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
