The Opportunity

This position is part of the Business Unit Finance team with full P&L / Balance Sheet / Cash Flow responsibility for the respective plant and Business Partnering with the respective plant manager. This position is leading all controlling matters within the plant and lead accounting in coordination with local country Finance. This position also has an important role in terms of local supply chain management, with a focus on stock management while planning remains centrally managed.

Key Responsibilities

Monthly Reporting

  • Oversight of month end closing.
  • Implementation of BU guidelines.
  • Review of the monthly financials of the plant; Comment on plant result – provide full insight in variances
  • Report to BU in monthly plant calls
  • Lead monthly reporting reviews with plant management team

Plant Business Partnering

  • Main Finance contact for plant manager
  • Is supported by BSC / Sales Controlling / Manufacturing Controlling.
  • Lead in plant all financial matters, including controlling, budgeting, CAPEX, investment appraisal, OCF
  • Internal plant KPI preparation

Budgeting, Forecasting & Controlling

  • Delivering annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and controlling of the actual accounts for the plant
  • Management of all plants and entities in scope with the team to ensure reporting completeness in HFM.
  • Review of the complete budgets and forecasts; analyze and discuss on greater deviations

Supply Chain

  • Freight control report
  • Stock management
  • & follow up: cycle count coordination, slow movers and HFI analysis
  • Key point of contact for BU Central SC team

Accounting/Others

  • Weekly Cash flow forecast
  • Utilities expenses accounting
  • Intrat stat reporting
  • Sustainability reporting
  • Simple tax reporting, in collaboration with our BSC in Budapest

Education & Experience

  • 3-5 years of controlling experience, preferably in a manufacturing company with full P&L responsibility
  • University degree in Business / Finance or equivalent
  • Accounting qualification – or equivalent experience

Competencies

  • Fluent in English (verbal and written)
  • ERP (SAP, HFM) skills including business warehouse are a plus.
  • Sound understanding of complex manufacturing environment.
  • Internal controls knowledge (SOX is a plus)
  • Detailed costing understanding
  • Self-managed team player
  • Strong business acumen – decision making.
  • Deal with multiple deliverables.
  • Accuracy
