What does this role entail?
- Wellness Center, Youth/Pee Wee sports day to day management and well-being program administration and support
- Assist in purchasing and reconciliation of program expenses
- Assists with the recruitment and hiring of program staff and volunteers
- Wellness floor shifts per week required
- Provide office support and perform other related duties, as needed
- Help maintain participant data and oversee program registration
- Follow and maintain standards, guidelines, objectives and goals of the assigned YMCA
- Manage staff schedules and reconciliation of timecards for program staff
- Maintain a professional manner and develop good rapport with members, participants, parents and community members
- Address program concerns and ensure safety of program participants and staff
- Participate as a team player to ensure that the YMCA image and mission statement are upheld
What do I need to bring do the table?
- Minimum age of 18 years old
- 1-2 years in management/supervision preferred
- Sports background with coaching experience preferred
- Personal Trainer certification preferred
- Proficient in computer and office administration skills
- Must be willing to work flexible hours. Afternoons/evenings & weekends. **Saturdays required**
- Visual and auditory ability to respond to critical incidents and the physical ability to act swiftly in an emergency
- Must have capability to multitask in a fast paced environment
- CPR/AED, and First Aid Certification, must include Adult and Child/Infant, obtained within 30 days of hire and must be from one of the following certifying organizations:
- American Red Cross
- American Heart Association
- American Safety & Health Institute
