We currently have an exciting opportunity for an outstanding Lawyer to join our Asia team in Jakarta, Indonesia and become a key member of the international Legal & Compliance community at Siemens Energy.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Lead all legal matters/risks and contracts of Indonesia (except tax issues) with a special focus on project business and claim management.
• Take initiative and contribute proactively to master business challenges by thinking entrepreneurially (balancing governance and business needs).
• Be the trusted advisor to regional and local management and the Business Areas on legal aspects.
• Maintain and further improve the best in class Legal department.
• Cultivate an organizational culture of ownership, empowerment, transparency and “speak up”.
• Collaborate closely with the global legal community.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Law and Legal qualification in Indonesia
• Minimum 7 years post-qualification experience and legal experience in Indonesia
• Deep knowledge of commercial and contract law and international contract practice.
• A demonstrable track record of successfully managing legal risks in complex environments and of being a trusted advisor to management.
• Broad understanding of different business models, market approaches, and business processes.
• Excellent leadership and critical thinking skills.
• A passion to enable business transactions and to inspire change.
• Capability to lead multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills are coupled with intercultural sensitivity and competence.
• Excellent language skills in verbal and written English.
