This role will lead projects from design to delivery. Leverages knowledge, expertise, and project management skills to direct team members, resolve issues and ensure achievement of project goals within a warehouse environment. Plans, organizes, secures, and manages resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives. Facilitates engagement of project team members and ensures all project phases are designed, executed, and delivered in a manner that meets customer expectations. Facilitates cross-functional teams, ensuring execution of defined deliverables and driving key decisions.

  • Provides Project Management support for moderately complex projects within a functional, operational or technical area.
  • Supports all aspects of project execution, including Requirements gathering, Chartering, Scope definition, Project planning, Change control, Risk management, Close-out, and Reporting.
  • Facilitates resource planning, cost estimation, budget development and cost control.
  • Ensures understanding of core processes, workflow, and customer / stakeholder interdependencies.
  • Ensures consistent application of Project Management methodology, processes, tools and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identifies and makes recommendations for process improvements.
  • Manage the capital plan and create purchase orders to suppliers and contractors.
  • Work directly to schedule contractors; ensure work is being completed on time and within budget.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Project and Program Management.
  • Warehouse operations experience
  • Warehouse and facilities planning, design and layout experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP certification
  • CAD capabilities and the ability to work with stakeholders and contractors to develop layouts.
