We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our R&D team. The primary responsibility of this role is to collect, analyze, and interpret key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to engineering processes within our R&D department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, proficiency in statistical methods, and a keen interest in engineering principles.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Data Collection: Gather and compile data from various sources including internal databases, software systems, and external sources relevant to engineering processes within R&D.
  • KPI Development: Work closely with engineering teams to define and develop key performance indicators (KPIs) that accurately measure the efficiency, productivity, and quality of R&D activities.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize statistical techniques and data visualization tools to analyze and interpret engineering KPIs. Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in the data to provide insights and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor and track engineering KPIs to assess performance against established benchmarks and targets. Identify areas of concern or opportunities for optimization.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports and dashboards summarizing the findings from KPI analysis to stakeholders within the R&D department and across the organization.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, project managers, and data scientists to integrate KPI analysis into decision-making processes and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data used for KPI analysis through data validation, cleaning, and reconciliation processes.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data collection processes, enhance data quality, and improve the effectiveness of KPI measurement methodologies within R&D.

WHO YOU ARE

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

Proven experience working as a Data Analyst, preferably in a research or engineering environment.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical analysis, data modeling, and data visualization techniques.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, or similar for data manipulation and analysis.

Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

Familiarity with engineering principles, R&D processes, and KPI measurement methodologies is desirable.

Minimum 4 year's as a data analyst and with PBI or tableau
