The Biden For President campaign is looking for a talented creative to join the President’s video team, with a focus on managing day-to-day production and operations of video shoots and post-production. The ideal candidate for this role has experience managing multiple video shoots and post-production operations with experience in organic social video, a background in writing, filming and editing video, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for harnessing these skills to help us win. Candidates should be comfortable working independently, responding to fast-moving news cycles, dealing with distributed teams, and a mix of studio, live, and on-location shoots.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement processes and help manage multidisciplinary teams on multiple concurrent projects
• Manage processing, uploading, and distributing footage from shoots and events
• Help manage the status of projects, including communicating timelines and deliverables with external stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Work with freelancers and external vendors to communicate logistics and deliverables of video shoots
• Assist in hiring, managing, and coaching creative team members at all levels
• Assist in managing retrospective and critique processes
• Work with our testing and analytics partners to help inform creative direction
• Other duties as needed

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience setting up operations and creative processes at fast-paced multi-platform video organizations (sports, newsrooms, ad agencies, live TV, etc.)
• Exceptional organizational and process-oriented skills, and an understanding of how those facilitate impactful creative 
• Experience in all facets of video production – writing, shooting, editing, motion design
• Experience in multiple production environments (live, on-location, stage & studio)
• Experience in political or campaign video (or a deep understanding and interest in political content)
• A strong understanding of current social media best practices for video 
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere
• Familiarity with project management, team scheduling/communications and remote production software 
• A passion for politics and enthusiasm about working to reelect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris 
• Willingness to relocate to Wilmington, DE
