Job Description & Summary

To stand out and make us fit for the future in a constantly changing world, every one of us at PwC needs to be purpose-led and values-driven leaders at every level. To help us achieve this, we have the PwC Professional, our global leadership development framework. It gives us a single set of expectations across our lines, geographies and career paths. It provides transparency on the skills we need as individuals to be successful and progress in our careers, now and in the future.

As a Senior Manager SAP S/4 HANA FINANCE, you will be part of a project team with responsibilities ranging from shaping a client’s future-ready SAP finance roadmap to (re)designing and optimising the finance business processes in SAP to eventually implementing the solution. As Senior Manager SAP S/4 HANA FINANCE, you will be the key player in our clients' major SAP S/4HANA transformation programs. In this role, you will support them in connecting the dots between the digital world and their core finance processes.

This will require a thorough understanding of business processes, the latest developments and benefits the S/4HANA digital core brings to clients and being up to date on other new solutions in the SAP Finance Transformation domain, such as Central Finance (CFIN).

Designing a fit-for-purpose future SAP Finance landscape and supporting them on the transformation journey to reach the desired state. Next to business-oriented consulting skills, strong delivery skills are essential, enabling us to put the plan into action together with our teams worldwide.

Throughout your career, you are seen as an SME/PROGRAM MGR/XXXX. You are a team player and, at the same time, able to deliver independently. Having strong analytical skills and a proactive ‘can-do’ mentality.

Does this describe you?

  • Bachelor's and/or master’s degree;
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills in English;
  • More than ten years of working experience within the SAP Finance Transformation field;
  • An excellent communicator, confident in building lasting business relationships;
  • A self-starter, able to work independently & proactively in a client environment;
  • Experienced in SAP S/4HANA Finance (certification will be an advantage);
  • Experienced in digital (ERP) transformations;
  • Proven project experience in at least one entire project lifecycle;
  • Capable of assessing the current state, identifying customer requirements, and defining the future state and/or business solution;
  • Experienced with analysing the finance processes in an organisation and designing its processes/systems based on S/4HANA processes and functionality.

What will you be doing?

  • Encourage everyone to have a voice and invite opinions from all, including quieter team members;
  • Deal effectively with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations;
  • Initiate open and candid coaching conversations at all levels;
  • Move quickly between big-picture thinking and managing relevant detail;
  • Anticipate stakeholder needs, and develop and discuss potential solutions, even before the stakeholder realises they are required;
  • Contribute technical knowledge around specialism;
  • Contribute to an environment where people and technology thrive together to accomplish more than they could apart;
  • Navigate the complexities of cross-border and/or diverse teams and engagements;
  • To build trust, initiate and lead open conversations with teams, clients and stakeholders;
  • Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.
