Change manager

We’re looking for a Change Manager to join our Tax Transformation team.

Change manager is responsible for innovation and transformation in UK Tax and we need you to help us design and implement best in class transformational change. You will be playing a key role in designing plans to embed new ways of working, using change management methodologies to achieve maximum adoption. Additionally, you need to be comfortable in ensuring projects meet objectives on time and on budget. You will be focused on the people side of change, working with changes to business processes, systems, job roles and organisational structures to maximise speed of change.

As a Change Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Apply a structured methodology and contribute to change management activities
  • Apply a change management process and tools to develop a strategy to drive adoption

of the changes required by a project or initiative.

  • Support communication efforts including drafting of comms for various stakeholders

cascading key messages and interventions required at various stages of projects.

  • Design, develop, deliver and manage communications for a wider project team.
  • Assess and plan change interventions
  • Conduct Change Impact Assessments, assess change readiness, identify and map key stakeholders in order to develop a coherent plan that will address change needs
  • Identify training needs
  • Create Training Needs Analysis to support change programmes. Influence the design

and delivery of training programs, including coaching of project teams as required

Skills and experience

  • A good understanding of how people go through the change process and qualifications

in change management, psychology and/or behavioural science are an advantage

  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Strong active listening and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
  • Innovative; with a thirst for new concepts and the ability to use them in projects
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
  • Organised, with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills
  • Able to work effectively at all levels in an organisation
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project

lifecycle, experience of agile methodologies

  • Experience with large-scale organisational change efforts
