The Opportunity

The People Consulting team in EY Consulting is expanding and we are looking for an experienced Senior Manager to join our team. As a Change Consulting Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of change management professionals and working in demanding transformation programs, supporting our clients in achieving successful outcomes and ensuring business benefits realization. 

You will work in multidisciplinary and often international project teams. And of course, you will be part or the local People Consulting team of professionals, where we value openness and helpfulness and of course good fun! Your key responsibilities

You will be at the forefront of designing and delivering complex transformation programs, utilizing EY’s unique Humans@Center thinking. Your main responsibilities will include: 

  • Acting as a Change Consulting Lead for EY Finland, entailing sales, business development and delivery responsibilities.
  • Building and developing the change management offering.
  • Using for example our state of the art Change Experience and Bricks, Bytes, and Behaviors approaches in client engagements. This includes, but is not limited to, strategy transformations, technology transformations and operating model transformation projects. 
  • Guiding organizations in designing better transformation experiences from an organizational, process, leadership, culture, and operating model perspective. Acting as a trusted advisor to our clients.
  • Leading a team of change management experts in developing and maintaining productive relationships with the client project teams, and collaboratively working towards finding new business opportunities related to organizational transformations. 
  • Actively collaborating with EY’s Nordic Change Lead colleagues.

Skills and attributes for success

  • 10+ years of experience in management consulting, preferably in private sector industries and organizations
  • Additional experience either in organization design, HR transactions, technology transformations or strategy implementation
  • Experience and ability to sell people consulting services, especially change management services
  • Ability to operate in a network organization
  • Experience in successfully leading and growing teams
  • Customer centricity and Business value mentality
  • A high level of motivation, drive and positive learning attitude
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • A University level degree (required) and a Change Management certificate (preferred)
  • Strong communication skills in Finnish and English

As a Senior Manager, you should be tech-savvy, at ease in complex, global projects, and deliver high-quality services while managing client expectations. You will be expected to have professional knowledge of change management, people centric transformation and/or organizational design and leadership development, and actively learn more. Additionally, you should be able to develop and maintain productive relationships with EY’s internal stakeholders and the client project team, manage expectations of our services, and collaboratively work towards finding new business opportunities.
