Job Overview

We have a newly created opportunity for a Sr. Technical Business Analyst to join our team. This role can be based at our headquarters in Milwaukee, WI or Chicago, IL (near O’Hare). In this role you will work on a global team to support all SAP order-to-cash applications used within our business units. 

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Knowledge expert within the Information Technology organization supporting all SAP Order-to-Cash applications used by KMC/KAC/Hensley/MTS organizations
  • Ensure sales business requirements for various order to cash and related functions are translated into detailed functional specifications and consider cross functional impacts, associated risks, cost benefit analysis, business justification, audit guidelines and global support requirements
  • Knowledge and technical lead for projects, testing, deployment, and documentation of processes.
  • Identify approaches for new processes and recommend improvements to automate or simplify existing processes 
  • Configure and test system processes and troubleshoot, document, and resolve system related issues 
  • Analysis of global business processes and procedures implemented in a single instance of SAP business software 
  • Support a complex global S4 Hana implementation project. Guiding stakeholders to leverage best practice usage of SAP S4 Hana.
  • Effectively communicate and work within a global team to coordinate and complete assignments for implementations, upgrades, modifications, and value opportunities associated with quote to cash processes
  • Work directly with business partners to define, scope, and implement solutions in alignment with business initiatives.
  • Manage business process design modification projects 
  • Work directly with AMS staff to ensure project/support deliveries
  • Work directly with vendor partnerships to augment staff capabilities.
  • Provides training to key and end users
  • Manage upgrades to new software releases

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information science or a related field 
  • 5+ years of experience in SAP as an SD business analyst, Sr. Business Analyst, or related role
  • Working experience with configuration and customization of SAP EDI solutions for quote to cash processes
  • Strong technical (debugging ABAP), analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root cause for effective issue resolution
  • Strong knowledge in SAP Logistics Execution including transportation management
  • Previous experience planning and executing large projects
  • Strong working knowledge in SAP ECC; SAP S/4 HANA, additional knowledge of multiple modules of SAP preferred
  • Ability to promote ideas, recommend solutions, and influence others within all levels of the organization including the ability to explain technical processes and concepts to non-technical user groups
  • Ability and discipline to self-manage assignments to meet deadlines and scope 
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Working knowledge of databases, applications, and data integration interfaces 
  • Ability to work individually, as a member of a functional team, and part of a global team
  • Effective change management skills
  • Ability to establish, build and maintain relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to speak a second language is a plus
