Job Characteristics:

Applies engineering skill to solve complex problems utilizing knowledge of Ecolab’s customers and markets. Manages multiple customer engineering projects. Development of different engineering projects and ensuring those projects are completed with high-quality standards in the Food & Beverage market. Develop growth with local Food & Beverage customers with selling equipment and link this to the chemical business of our customers. Liaises with the sales representatives and customers for project development as from discovery phase. You are responsible for project implementation from concept design, based on customer requirements, up to commissioning as closure and of course providing all required and necessary documentation. You will coordinate all project related activities through the project support team, service technicians and third-party partners. Schedules and coordinates major segments of complex projects to meet cost and time objectives. Reviews design and documentation to ensure compliance with design criteria and standards. Conducts feasibility studies, determines manpower and cost estimates, and develops engineering criteria.

Education/Work Experience:

• Advanced degree in an engineering discipline e.g. bachelor electromechanics, industrial engineer etc.
• Best would be 5-10 years of directly related engineering experience. We are also open to newcomers to the profession after graduation.
• Takes initiative to stay current with technology in degreed discipline.
• A proven track record of project management is a plus.
• Knowledge of safety regulations (VCA procedures).
• Read and design P&ID’s, MS Office, …
• Commercial insight
• Fluent in English (written and orally)
• Driver’s license

Independence Level/Best to have:

Have full professional competence to manage multiple engineering projects concurrently, with emphasis on in-depth technical contribution. May guide or train sales teams. Have fun to work with engineering projects with close interaction of sales and application team in direct communication to customers. Integrate in all projects the after-sales approach to provide full Ecolab Engineering and service package to our customers Actively participates in project planning by demonstrating knowledge of project management tools and techniques on cross-functional teams.
