PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABLITIES:

  • Comply with all of PPG EHS guidelines and initiatives.
  • Build establishing strong customer relationships at all levels, provide timely resolution to customer’s concerns, and quickly troubleshoot problems.
  • Help grow business by assisting in the development of new products and by executing the launch of new products and services.
  • Offer customers solutions in addressing their process challenges.
  • Maximize profit contribution by differentiation through superior technical problem solving which produces higher yield rates, lower reject rates and optimum appearance on the customer’s production line.
  • Primary contact person for all customer complaints and questions. Will be the lead spokesperson / liaison in communicating between the customer and internal PPG support departments.
  • Provide technical service to KIB and EM customers in the entire coatings process to meet required quality on line, and cost targets by ensuring the effective performance of PPG products through problem solving, and process improvements suggestions.
  • Coordinate and support new product introduction trials of new technology at PPG customers plants to ensure they meet expectations.
  • To keep accurate and detailed records of the project(s) and have the information correctly transferred to the right standard reporting forms in time, in order to ensure that PPG’s interests are protected.
  • In case of any deviation of the specified standards which may or could be the cause of a claim or complaint, immediately inform the responsible Technical Service Manager providing all relevant information.
  • To keep updated on the Industrial Coatings products, systems and procedures and use this to the benefit of PPG.
  • To be aware of the content of the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and be familiar with the local safety rules and regulations and follow them.
  • To handle complaints carefully and in such a way that his/her actions and verbal or written reports/ comments do not result in a commitment or assumption of responsibility that is outside of his / her authorities, which could result in Industrial Coatings being held liable.
  • In case of complaint (potential claim) the responsible Technical Service Manager must be informed (involved) immediately.
  • Conduct Quality Cooperative Program audit to customer process line and channel information to business team in setting up/renewing QCP agreement.

REQUIREMENT:

  • Education level: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Coatings background experience as KIB & EM segment at least 3 years (working in technical service, or paint shop environments.)
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Word/Excel/E-mail & Internet communication.
  • Fluency in Business English.

  • Professional in dress code and behavior.
