Transactions Supervisor - Quality Control

As a Transactions Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing day to day operations of your section which includes direct management of 12-15 staff members. You will assign work and set workflow priorities, tracking the units performance and monitor daily volume and service levels. Your constant focus on customer service and all process flows that lead to delivering best in class service is needed as is your ability to hold every employee on your team accountable for results including compliance to all pertinent regulatory policies. 

Job responsibilities:

  • Monitoring adherence to all prescribed metrics of performance which include but are not limited to cycle times, productivity goals, and customer satisfaction.
  • Providing employees honest and clear feedback regarding strengths, opportunities and areas for development via means of coaching and guidance by actively planning for their development.
  • Demonstrating the ability to build alignment and commitment within and across functions to achieve common goals.
  • Adhering to overtime requirements when necessary as the timely processing of requests is critical to the SLA targets.
  • Researching and finalizing EPIC dispute queue results with line of business supervisors.
  • Monitoring and close out of EPIC audits in the correction queue.
  • Overseeing Quality Control reviews of 100 operational functions and works with line of business supervisors on remediation.
  • Providing executive updates for monthly business reviews.
  • Participating in various projects and feedback sessions to positively impact file flow, policies and procedures, system enhancements, etc.
  • Possessing end to end Process Knowledge and emerge as the SME for the process.
  • Ensuring that all audit trails as required by the function are verified and stored appropriately.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • High School diploma
  • 2+ years Mortgage Banking experience
  • Prior Supervisory and/or Leadership experience with a proven ability to lead, coach and mentor at all position levels
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage documents
  • Strong interpersonal skills; the ability to effectively interact with various styles and levels of management and be able to adjust own communication style based on the audience.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and multi-task
  • Ability to manage high volume processes with stringent time constraints
  • Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to act in a decisive, urgent and committed way to achieve results.
  • This position will be working onsite and not remote.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills: 

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs preferred
  • Ability to move carts loaded with files, lift boxes of files and climb
  • Strong working knowledge Chase Servicing / Production systems is preferred
