St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

Company Type

At St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, we know what can be achieved when the brightest minds face the fewest barriers. That’s why we provide world-class facilities, state-of-the-art technologies, and extraordinary support to ensure scientific and clinical progress is never halted from a lack of resources. You will be part of a collaborative environment where you can see, firsthand, the rewards of your hard work.

As a Clinical Research Associate-RN II on this team, you will focus on Phase I studies for the Children’s Oncology Group (COG). Your clinical background as a nurse will pair perfectly with the regulatory and clinical compliance work needed to stay on top of the trial work. Since this position works primarily with COG studies, this person must stay up to date with the modifications COG releases on a semi-regular basis. Typically, there are a large number of open trials with only a limited number of study participants.

You will learn from some of the best clinicians in the world as part of the Cancer Center Administration clinical research team. Responsibilities include patient enrollment, sample shipment to COG, data entry into COG database, adverse event reporting, and assisting investigators in running efficient and accurate clinical trials. The person in this position will also be expected to work with St. Jude sponsored and industry sponsored studies as needed. You will be opening and managing multiple studies while interfacing with a variety of departments. Part of your day will also be spent overseeing slot eligibility for open studies.
