Responsible for supporting senior engineers in performing electrical engineering research, design, development, modification, and evaluation in support of complex radar systems and their electronic components. Will support design, development and test of antenna, transmitter, receiver and exciter subsystems used in ground based, airborne and shipboard radar applications.
Employee will be part of all phases of product development, requirements analysis and decomposition, hardware architecture definition , trade studies, critical technology, concept design, prototype fabrication, design verification, detailed design and production support. Employee will have opportunity to interface with both internal and external customers, including end user.
Wideband RF Design including Antenna and RF Front End Electronics. Electromagnetic theory and design. RF Circuit Design, Analog Circuit Design, RF Distribution. Experience in RF PWB Layout, RF Design using Mixers, RF Design using Amplifiers, RF Stripline Design, RF Filter Design, and RF Path Analysis Ability to work in Cross-functional teams. Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical peers and audiences. Basic understanding Electromagnetic theory and principles.
RF/Microwave/Electromagnetics preferred part of course work or previous employment.
Ability to contribute immediately to cross functional teams in complex product development.
Ability to effectively communicate both to technical and to non-technical audiences is desired.
Experience with complex RF measurement equipment (Power Meters, Network and Spectrum Analyzers, etc.), SPICE, LabVIEW, MatLab, and analysis tools (i.e. HFSS, Comsol, CST Microwave Studio) preferred. Experience with Transmit/Receive Module Design at UHF through Ku Band is a plus. Ability to contribute immediately to cross functional teams in complex product development. RF Circuit Design, Analog Circuit Design, RF Distribution. Experience in RF PWB Layout, RF Design using Mixers, RF Design using Amplifiers, RF Stripline Design, RF Filter Design, RF Path Analysis, Low noise design, Digital to Analog converters, Analog to Digital Converters and statistical analysis is desired. .
