Hybrid Working 

Structured hybrid role: 

At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, ‘anchor’, days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Please discuss the working pattern requirements for the role you are applying for with the hiring manager. Please note that as we continue to embed our hybrid working environment, we remain in a test and learn phase, which means that working arrangements may be subject to change on reasonable notice to ensure we meet the needs of our business.

Introduction:

This role will support the CMP TechnoFinance Lead to deliver major upcoming Simplification & Transformation initiatives.

What will you be doing?

• Support on the execution of significant Simplification and Transformation projects in the CMP space
• Working with Stakeholders and Technology to build out user stories
• Engaging with Stakeholders & Technology to ensure timely build, test & delivery of the User stories 
• Ensure end to end cross functional system integrity is maintained
• Supporting with EIA planning and delivery including environment prepping and process ordering

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, or a related field and experience supporting Finance areas in multidisciplinary projects
• Understanding of and passion for Transformation & Systems development
• Experience with Project Management or Transformation projects as part of a team
• Strong numerical and financial proficiency
• Proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel & PowerPoint a must)

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Strong analytical skills, agility in approach & thinking and problem-solving
• Basic programming language skill or automation tool experience is advantage
• Familiarity with BX allocations methodologies
• Experience with Apptio or PAPM tool
