Morgan Stanley Investment Management is seeking an Associate to join its US Portfolio Surveillance/Investment Compliance team within the COO office. The successful candidate will provide coverage of the MSIM business (Equity or Fixed Income/Liquidity) providing proactive servicing, problem solving, risk mitigation and project work, and daily surveillance tasks. The candidate will coordinate with colleagues in EMEA and Asia Pacific, develop relationships with key contacts within the various strategies and other middle office and back-office colleagues. The ideal candidate will have specific experience covering large US asset managers (an affiliate of a bank holding company is a plus), would be well-versed in US regulations governing investment advisors and companies.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $95,000 and $130,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
