So our Financial Planning and Analysis team (FP&A) is evolving its capabilities to address the increased complexity and partner with Executive leadership to guide the business through this critical phase. The successful candidate will be analytical, detail oriented, able to operate independently and a thought leader.
The FP&A crew works cross-functionally with Executive leaders and frontline managers across Eventbrite to inform and influence decision-making through timely, accurate analytics and data-driven business recommendations.

We’re looking for a Manager with a can-do attitude who is willing to challenge traditional thinking and pursue new territory with an entrepreneurial spirit and sense of ownership. As an experienced, business-minded, and creative problem solver, you will guide the strategy of global compensation. In this role, you will be a strategic partner to our CFO, VP of Finance, Compensation Committee, and Briteling Experience leader (HR) to guide Eventbrite’s evolving headcount and compensation structure in our pursuit of living at the intersection of happiness and high performance.
This role has two important charters. First, you will be looked to as a domain expert on total compensation analytics. You will run analysis of market data and internal data in order to provide recommendations on the structure of compensation for our global teams. By providing insight and leadership, you will guide our Executive Team and internal committees through creating frameworks and analytics which help them evaluate or create strategies for attracting, retaining, and engaging our global workforce. You’ll also work directly with the internal compensation committees to evolve our worldwide compensation philosophy while providing analysis of programs we have in place.
Second, as a leader on the Finance team you will own and manage forecasting, planning and evaluating company-wide headcount and compensation. You will work directly with other functional FP&A managers to manage the annual planning and monthly forecasting cycles and provide materials for periodic reporting.
THE SKILL SET
5+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment at growth/scaling stage business(es) and partnering with increasing levels of responsibility
An analytical mindset and comfortable developing frameworks to aid decision making
Ability to communicate persuasively with business partners to resolve highly complex issue and recommend or produce best solutions
Experience forecasting and managing a forecasting model
Strong communication skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a related or quantitative technical field (Statistics, Engineering, Math, Economics, Computer Science, etc.)
Knowledge of compensation and/or Human Resources experience identifying, consulting, designing, recommending, and implementing business solutions
Experience providing compensation strategy guidance to Boards, Executive leaders, and Compensation Review Teams
Experience utilizing an HRIS for compensation implementation
