Description:We are Lockheed Martin

You will be the Manager of the F-35 Capture team within Engineering & Technology (E&T).

You will lead the team in supporting proposals and business capture for the F-35 Program (i.e. Development, International, Production, and Sustainment proposals). addition to leading the team, you will work across functions and communicate, mitigate, and solve issues related to the In development and/or execution to the proposal. You will use metrics to address and improve E&T team performance in developing proposals. The manager will also lead and participate in process improvement initiatives related to proposal development and execution. This includes all aspects of the job, i.e. technical, cost and schedule execution.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing team resources within allocated

budgets to ensure support for all proposals in a

dynamic environment

  • Identifying and addressing issues, risks and

opportunities

  • Interacting with senior leadership in E&T,

program management, sustainment, and

stakeholders

  • Developing and maintaining a Vemo staffing

plan that supports evaluation of future staffing

needs

  • Performing personnel management tasks

including staffing, training, assigning and

directing work, and conducting performance

reviews. Will provide leadership and guidance to

coach, motivate, and lead team members.

INTERIM SECRET

You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

This position is located at a facility that requires special access and a security clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in an

Engineering environment

  • Project Management experience
  • Familiar with Proposal Development, F-35

experience a plus

  • Experience working across multiple disciplines,

departments, or teams

  • Interim Secret or higher security clearance

Desired Skills:

  • F-35 Development, Customer Solutions,

Sustainment, or Production experience

  • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
  • Team leadership experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communications

skills

  • Excellent presentation skills

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
