The School of Natural Resources is home to the study of everything found naturally on Earth. But, we don’t just sit and think, we get out and get our hands dirty, researching, exploring, and championing the natural world along the way.

As the Recruitment and Retention Coordinator – SNR Graduate Programs, you will:

  • Provide vision, leadership, mentoring, and oversight for the School of Natural Resources (SNR) Graduate Student Success Hub which includes recruiting/marketing, retention and advising of graduate students and communicating with alumni.
  • Focus on equitably enhancing students’ experiences and career development for a large and diverse pool of graduate students through formal and informal programming around student retention, engaged learning, and inclusive excellence for all diverse learners.
  • Provide strategic experience for graduate student success programming for SNR administrators and faculty.

  • Minimum Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in natural resources, journalism, business, marketing, public relations, student affairs, or related field.
  • Two years’ work experience recruiting, advising, training, or general student success experience.
  • Proficient knowledge of databases, spreadsheets, and word processing.
  • Demonstrated excellence in writing/editing and oral communication skills.

Preferred QualificationsThe following qualifications are preferred but not required.

  • Experience recruiting or guiding graduate students.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Experience in roles where a strong, professional, and positive image was required.

Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required. Subject to DOT approved pre-employment & random testing for alcohol and controlled substances. No
