Revenue Cycle Management Managers care for the people who care for patients by developing and managing specialized knowledge areas that support company and department goals. Managers partner with business support teams and clinic operations teams to achieve business goals that bring better care to the front lines. Scope of direct responsibility includes day to day operational activities and staff oversight, workflow optimization, reporting/monitoring, and business leadership of new & existing technology implementations. Works directly with internal and external customers. Managers may be individual contributors or may directly supervise. 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; and people management/development.
  • Addressing inquiries and resolving escalated issues, both internal and external.
  • Managing employee timecard hours and PTO.
  • Acts as a resource and partners with all departments and field teams to resolve complex issues related to expertise.
  • Monitors and holds team accountable for position related metrics that identify trending of key performance indicators.
  • Conducts analysis, interprets reports, and makes recommendations to changes in policies and procedures related to specialty knowledge area.
  • Employs various modes of communication to train all levels of the organization on systems, programs, procedures, and processes related to expertise.
  • Participates and assists in leading cross functional teams to share knowledge and expertise to achieve company goals and initiatives.
  • Develops and manages relationships with external business partners.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience managing a team
  • Proven career progression with increasing levels of project experience and responsibility.
  • Possess strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Suite; Excel, Word, Outlook

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 3-5 years relevant work experience required

MENTAL AND VISUAL REQUIREMENTS: 

Works in clean, smoke-free and well-lighted spaces.

  • Exposure to frequent deadlines/ must have ability to handle stress effectively, subject to frequent interruptions
  • Must have good visual and hearing acuity.
  • Must be able to utilize keyboard and view computer screens up to 90% of shift.
  • Must be able to follow directions and plan fairly complex processes & workflow

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, grasp, handle or feel, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend, climb, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions of hands and/or wrists.
  • Requires some physical work; lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to 10 pounds.

Salary: 89-105k + bonus opportunity
