Summary of Position:

To provide strategic partnership and effective HR consulting to business leaders, managers, and staff within the global functions organizations. Provide leadership and support in functional areas of human resources including talent management, performance management, employee and leadership development, recruitment, employee and/or labor relations, change management, employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.

Accountabilities:

  • Partner with business units to integrate people strategies with overall organizational strategy
  • Serves as a consultant and coach to the designated Global Functions Executive leaders and their teams
  • Employs effective change management strategies to aid in business transformation activities
  • Supports organizational change and design by working with senior management and Global HRBPs to identify business requirements and implement appropriate solutions
  • Formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to leadership and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization
  • Works closely with leadership and employees to improve engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness aimed at delivering stronger business performance
  • Leads annual processes related to talent management and succession planning, performance management and compensation planning for the site population
  • Collaborates with Talent Acquisition regarding recruitment activities for key positions
  • Leverages HRBPs in other global regions; has accountability for resolution of complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations as appropriate.
  • May serve as a project leader for HR and/or business-driven initiatives (i.e. organizational structure changes, cultural change, employee rewards, organizational effectiveness, career architecture, HCM etc.)
  • Provides employees and management with coaching and counseling, ensuring objectivity and professionalism in dealing with sensitive issues
  • Analyses trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies
  • Provide policy guidance and interpretation; recommend and implement changes as needed across global clients

Education, Experience and Training:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field

Required Minimum Number of Years of Relevant Experience

  • 8-10 years HR experience in a business-facing role

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Demonstrate fundamental cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to guide or direct others through action or influence
  • Talent management and organizational development experience.
  • Change Management and communication prowess
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate data
  • Initiative and drive to continuously improve processes and systems
  • Proven ability to work effectively in teams and with individuals at all levels within an organization; understanding of cultural contexts and international work experience preferred
  • Experience managing several tasks and priorities and exercise independent working; a self-starter.
  • Working understanding of local, country and regional labor practices
